Learning Cohorts
Berkeley seeks to accommodate each student’s unique learning needs. The goal is to help every student reach his or her full potential. Learning Communities (or “Cohorts”) group together students with shared interests and goals to progress through an educational experience together.
The Berkeley College Honors Program is a selective interdisciplinary program that gives freshmen and continuing students the opportunity to study program-related topics in greater depth than is possible in the regular degree programs.
Incoming freshmen with a high school grade point average of 3.00 or higher and have demonstrated academic achievement are eligible to apply. Continuing students who have earned at least 18 but no more than 80 credits and have maintained an overall cumulative 3.50 grade point average or higher may apply for acceptance into the Honors Program.
