April 26

Berkeley College will host a FAFSA (Free Application for Student Aid) Workshop at 10:00 am. This hands-on workshop is for parents/guardians of high school seniors interested in applying for financial aid, and students are encouraged to attend. How to apply for a PIN and a full explanation of the financial aid process will be discussed. A presentation will take place on Berkeley College institutional aid in the form of scholarships and grants. Parents/guardians can request a financial aid planning session by presenting their most recent income tax returns to a financial aid administrator. Berkeley College will host a free Introduction to Game Design Workshop from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. This hands-on introduction to the field of game design, led by Lawrence Mascia, interactivity designer and game developer, will help you to apply design skills and perspectives to your game projects. Berkeley College will host an Immediate Decision Day from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. The event offers all interested students immediate information regarding acceptance for the upcoming quarter. Guests will have the opportunity to meet and greet staff and faculty, and learn about degree programs, as well as financial aid and scholarship opportunities. Transfer students will learn about transfer opportunities. Students interested in immediate decision must bring high school transcripts and take an entrance examination; however, those students who have already completed an Associate’s degree are exempt from the exam.
