Berkeley's newest location is situated in the central business district next to Verizon and IDT headquarters and across from Washington Park. The Newark Campus is within walking distance to major employers, retailers, government offices, and cultural attractions.
The Newark Public Library, Newark Museum, and New Jersey Performing Arts Center are located close to the campus.
With the best public transportation system in New Jersey, Newark offers easy accessibility to students. Buses and the new NJ Transit Light Rail system stop right in front of Berkeley's campus. Newark Penn Station and the Broad Street Train Station are minutes away. The PATH system provides convenient access to Manhattan and Hudson County.
The Facility
The campus occupies a newly renovated state-of-the-art facility. Students enjoy all of the advantages of campus life in one locationclassrooms, student services, library, Academic Support Center, and student lounge. All facilities are designed to accommodate the physically challenged.
Library
The library offers computers for research and Internet access; study areas; a copy machine; and a collection of print, media, and periodical subscriptions supporting the academic programs of the College and the general interests of the students. Students may borrow a laptop from the library to access the College's wireless network. Academic librarians are available to assist in locating materials in the collection or navigating the array of electronic databases available.
The Academic Support Center
The Academic Support Center (ASC) is located on the second floor and offers a full array of academic support services to help students improve their academic performance and achieve their educational goals. The ASC offers a series of workshops to help strengthen study skills and time management. Tutoring is available online and on-site.

From Route 21 South: Follow Route 21 South (McCarter Highway) into Newark and go past the back of the Newark Bears ballpark and make a right onto Bridge Street. Follow Bridge Street to Broad Street and turn left. The College is the white four-story building located immediately on your left between the IDT and Verizon buildings.
From Route 21 North: Follow Route 21 North to the major intersection at Raymond Boulevard and make a left. Follow Raymond Boulevard two blocks to Broad Street and make a right. The College is the white four-story building located on your right between the IDT and Verizon buildings.
From New Jersey Turnpike: Take Exit 15W (Newark/280). After toll both follow Route 280 West to Exit 15A (Route 21 South). Upon exiting stay left and follow the loop around to Route 21 South (McCarter Highway). Proceed as above from Route 21 South.
From Garden State Parkway: Take Exit 145 (Route 280). Follow signs to Route 280 East to Exit 15 (Route 21 South- Downtown). At the bottom of the ramp to Route 21 South, make a right onto Route 21 South (McCarter Highway). Proceed as above from Route 21 South.
From Route 78 East: Follow Route 78 East until it splits near Newark Airport, follow signs to Routes 1 & 9 and 21 North (McCarter Highway). Proceed as above from Route 21 North. By NJ Transit Bus: Take the 11, 13, 27, 28, 29, 39, 41, 59, 66, 72, 76, 78, or 108 bus to Washington Park/Broad Street. The College is located across the street.
From Newark Penn Station: NJ Transit Light Rail: Take to the stop at Atlantic Street which is adjacent to the College. NJ Transit Bus: Take the 72 or 76 to Washington Park. The College is located across the street. NJ Transit Newark Subway: Take to the Military Park stop. Walk 4 blocks north on Broad Street to the College.
From Broad Street Station: NJ Transit Light Rail: Take to the stop at Washington Park. The College is located across the street.
