2016 Virtual Commencement

STUDENT SPEAKER

Felice Brown
Student Speaker 2017

Felice Brown is a tenacious student who, like many others, had made several attempts to earn a college degree prior to attending Berkeley College. After graduating high school, Felice attended a community college that, as she recalls, “just was not a fit.” Felice felt she would be unable to fulfill her career goals and aspirations with the programs and services offered, so she took eight years off from college and worked in various fields including banking, retail, and administrative support.

As a student of Berkeley College, Felice has earned her place, term after term, on the Dean’s and President’s lists, and she was admitted to a number of leadership and honor societies. She has served in the Student Government Association, and has also acted as a Student Ambassador at both the Woodland Park and Woodbridge campuses.

Today, Felice holds the position of Office Assistant in the Department of Student Development and Campus Life at Woodland Park. And she has succeeded in achieving her lifelong goal to graduate college; Felice graduates with a 3.8 cumulative grade point average and a Bachelor in Business Administration degree.

Felice is a native of North Bergen, New Jersey. She is engaged to be married and is planning to enroll in graduate school. Through her vigor, drive, passion, kindness, and superior work ethic, Felice is on track toward a successful future.
