Subscription Databases for the Financial Planners curriculum include:

ABI/INFORM Dateline™, which delivers over 190 journals, business tabloids, magazines, daily newspapers, wire services, and area business publications. It includes hard-to-find local and regional business publications, employment opportunities, data on benefits and compensation, corporate strategies, and other topics from a local and regional perspective.

ABI/INFORM Global™, which offers the latest business and financial information for researchers at all levels. A basic search using ‘financial planning’ retrieves information from scholarly journals, magazines, trade publications, newspapers, reference/reports, dissertations and working papers.

ABI/INFORM Trade & Industry™, which includes in-depth coverage of companies, products, executives, trends, and other topics from more than 2,025 publications. Users can study and compare specific trades and industries.

ACCOUNTING & TAX database, which is national and international in scope providing comprehensive coverage of the accounting, taxation, and finance topics appearing in key industry journals, magazines, reports and newspapers. Publications include a focus on accounting policies and standards, state and national tax legislation, corporate and individual taxation, compensation and pension plans, and corporate financial management, as well as profiles of accounting firms, CPAs, and management consulting firms.

BANKING INFORMATION SOURCE, which includes 532 banking and finance journals, magazines, and newsletters of the banking and financial services industries.

BUSINESS SOURCE PREMIER, which provides 315 financial related titles, including SWOT analysis by the Datamonitor group.

CAMPUS RESEARCH online services, which provide a collection of news, business and law related information for students. Financial services content from this resource include:

LEXISNEXIS ACADEMIC, which includes access to 126 financial related publications, including the full text of National Underwriters Life & Health Financial Services for decision makers in the life/health insurance and financial planning business.

PLUNKETTS Databases, which provide industry specific research centers that include the insurance, investment and securities and banking industries. Each provides market research and trends, statistics, company profiles, and association/organization information.

PROQUEST CENTRAL database, which provides access to the full text and graphics of financial planning case studies in scholarly journals, trade publications, and reports.
