We are excited to announce our summer 2016 Berkeley College Online Book Club selection: A Second Chance: Life Lessons Turned into Living Dreams by Berkeley College Alumnus of the Year Edison A. Jaquez. Mr. Jaquez is CEO/Founder of B-Men and Co-Founder of BYOUtiful, mentoring organizations designed to enhance the lives of today’s youth.

Please join us on Wednesday, July 20 at 9:30 AM EST for a presentation and Q&A with Edison Jaquez at the Woodbridge campus student center. The event will also be streamed online.

Virtual discussions will take place on our Goodreads page from Monday, July 11 until Friday, July 22. All students, faculty, staff, and alumni are welcome and encouraged to join the discussion on Goodreads.

A native of the Dominican Republic, Mr. Jaquez moved to the United States with his family when he was a child. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Berkeley College in 2009. In his book, Mr. Jaquez shares his journey from an impoverished island nation to inner city projects, college, and jail, and how he developed a sense of peace and accomplishment that empowers him to reach out and support others.
