Amanda Carrasco was appointed Branch Campus Coordinator of the Surgical Technology and Surgical Processing Technician programs in 2014. In this role, she is responsible for the organization, administration, lectures, laboratories, and general effectiveness of the students’ experience while on campus. She has more than eight years of teaching experience and currently is a Clinical Surgical Technology Instructor. Ms. Carrasco works as a Certified Surgical Technologist at St. Anthony’s Community Hospital in Warwick, NY.
Before her appointment as Branch Campus Coordinator, Ms. Carrasco served as the Clinical Coordinator at Berkeley College in Clifton and Dover, NJ, and as Clinical Coordinator at Dover Business College from 2011 to 2013. She has more than eight years of work experience in this field. Ms. Carrasco served on the Board of Directors of the New Jersey State Assembly Association of Surgical Technologists from 2011 to 2013.
Ms. Carrasco received an M.S. in Health Care Administration from New England College, Online; a B.S. in Health Services Management from Berkeley College; an A.A.S. in Fashion Marketing and Management from Berkeley College, and a Certificate in Surgical Technology from Sussex County Community College.
