Barbara Monaghan was named Online Associate Chair, School of Liberal Arts, in April 2013. In this role, she manages scheduling and training for faculty members in the School of Liberal Arts, as well as introduces innovative teaching tools and webinars to keep faculty current with online protocols.

Her presentations include “The Intelligent Classroom: Interactive Teaching and Learning Technologies,” which was presented at the NJEDge.net Conference in 2014, and “Keep Them Begging for More: Professional Development That Matters,” which was presented for the United States Distance Learning Association in 2015.

Ms. Monaghan joined Berkeley College in 1999 as a Professor, English. She received the Faculty of the Year award from Berkeley College in 2013.

Ms. Monaghan holds an M.S. from DeVry University, an M.A. from New York University in New York City, and a B.A. from Brooklyn College, City University of New York.
