With more than 20 years of experience and a wealth of knowledge and expertise in her field, Barbara Sylvester is Associate Vice President of Financial Aid at Berkeley College. She oversees the three New York campuses (Brooklyn, New York City, and White Plains), as well as the Woodbridge campus in New Jersey. Her primary responsibilities are to ensure institutional compliance with all federal and state regulations related to the administration of Title IV Federal Student Financial Aid. While providing guidance and direction to Financial Aid Directors and Administrative staff, she will manage the Financial Aid office with emphasis on customer service and regulatory requirements.

Barbara was previously with Berkeley College from 2008 to 2014. Subsequently, she held the Position of Senior Director/Operations of Financial Aid at Touro College, where she oversaw the graduate and undergraduate programs for seven campuses. She provided leadership to promote, maintain integrity, and accuracy in the delivery of financial aid to students. She worked very closely with the all departments to help students through the enrollment process.
