Brian Maher

Interim Vice President for Career Services and Athletic Director

Brian Maher was named the Interim Vice President for Career Services in April 2013. In this interim role, Mr. Maher will be responsible for providing leadership, vision, and support to the Career Services staff at all Berkeley College locations. Mr. Maher is also the Berkeley College Athletic Director, a position he has held since February 2008. He previously served as Director, Student Development and Campus Life, New Jersey, and Director of Alumni Relations.

During three years spent as Head Coach of the Men’s Basketball Team, New Jersey, Mr. Maher expanded the program to include a more comprehensive schedule, allowing the team to compete against some of the top NCAA Division III competitors in the Northeast.

Awards and Recognitions: Mr. Maher was the honorable mention recipient of the Berkeley College Associate of the Year award for Innovation in 2009; was the recipient of the Associate of the Year award for being Student-Oriented in 2006; and was the honorable mention recipient of the Associate of the Year award for Creativity in 2005.

Professional Affiliations: Mr. Maher serves as President, Hudson Valley Men’s Athletic Conference, through 2012.

Degrees: Mr. Maher holds a B.A. in History from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY.
