Campus Operating Officer, Newark
Earl Brown was named Campus Operating Officer, Newark, in January 2017. In this role, Mr. Brown handles day-to-day operations to ensure that the policies, procedures and goals of the campus and College are met, as well as build partnerships within the Newark community.
Mr. Brown most recently served as a Business Developer with the Berkeley College Career Services department. In this role, he developed partnerships with companies, nonprofit organizations and government entities that support internships for students and lead to permanent career positions.
Mr. Brown belongs to several professional organizations, including the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey, the New Jersey Association of Colleges and Employers, and the Hudson County, North Jersey and African American chambers of commerce. He is also a member of the American Management Association, the National Black MBA Association, INROADS, and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity.
He is also an adjunct professor, teaching business courses at Kean University in Union, NJ, and Passaic County Community College in Paterson, NJ.
Mr. Brown holds an M.B.A. in Business Administration from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA, and Bachelor’s degrees in both Economics and Business Management from Virginia Tech University in Blacksburg, VA.
