Glen Zeitzer, Ph.D.
Glen Zeitzer is currently redesigning the Credit for Prior Learning program at Berkeley College. Before assuming this position, Dr. Zeitzer was Provost of Berkeley College from April 2009 to December 2012. Dr. Zeitzer also served as Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs, New York, through March 2009, and as President of the New York City location from 1990 through 1994, leading the College through a rigorous initial accreditation process in 1993. In 2000 and 2001, he served as Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs of the New Jersey locations, where he played a major role in securing State approval for the College’s first baccalaureate degree program: the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
Dr. Zeitzer has also served at a variety of institutions of higher education, including Adelphi University, The French Culinary Institute, and the New England Institute of Technology.
Dr. Zeitzer holds a Ph.D. in American and European History from Bryn Mawr College, an M.A. in European History from New York University, and a B.A. from the University of Cincinnati. He has been elected to serve two terms as a Commissioner to the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, a regional accrediting association.
