After serving as the Interim Assistant Vice President, Academic Advisement, Joseph Giuffre has been appointed to the position of Assistant Vice President, Academic Advisement.

Joe has worked at Berkeley College since April of 2014; first as the Assistant Dean, Academic Advisement in NYC, then the Dean, Academic Advisement in Brooklyn, and also as the Dean, Academic Advisement in NYC.

Prior to coming to Berkeley College Joe was a Visiting Professor in Health and Nutrition Sciences at Montclair State University teaching Educational Methods, Program Planning, and other related topics. He was the Director of Academic Advisement and Student Services at New York University School of Professional Studies, Paul McGhee Division, and the Dean of Student Services at the Art Institute of New York City and Washington, DC.

Joe is a graduate of Cabrini College with a B.A. in Communications. He also holds two M.ED. degrees, one from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania in Counseling & Higher Education and the second from Widener University in Human Sexuality Education. He has also earned a Certificate of Mastery in Prior Learning Assessment through the Council for Adult and Experiential Learning.
