Chair, Developmental Reading and Writing

Keri English was named Chair, Developmental Reading and Writing, in April 2014. In this role, she creates and staffs teaching schedules for all Berkeley College locations and is responsible for hiring, training, and managing full-time and adjunct faculty within Developmental Education.

Ms. English joined Berkeley College as a professor of Developmental Education in 2008. She has served as an adjunct professor at Union County College in Cranford, NJ, and Hunter College in New York City. She has been a contributing writer to the Indie Reader since December 2011.

Ms. English has written features and book reviews that have been published in various national publications.

She holds an M.A. and a B.A. from Hunter College in New York City and a New Jersey Certificate of Eligibility as an English teacher.
