Assistant Vice President, Institutional AdvancementLaura M. Jewell was appointed Assistant Vice President, Institutional Advancement, in July 2010. Ms. Jewell is responsible for Berkeley College’s Alumni Relations, External Relations, Community Relations, Fundraising, and Communications. Prior to her current role, Ms. Jewell was the Director of Communications for Berkeley College. In this role, she managed the Office of the President’s internal and external communications.
In 2001, Ms. Jewell founded Jewell Marketing Associates, Inc., a firm specializing in an integrated approach to branding, marketing, communications, public relations, online initiatives, and event management. Prior to founding Jewell Marketing Associates, Ms. Jewell served as Global Marketing Director for Lucent Technologies in Holmdel, NJ; and Marketing Director for AT&T, Holmdel, NJ.
Ms. Jewell holds an M.B.A. from the New York Institute of Technology and a B.A. in Marketing from Hofstra University. Utilizing her experience in marketing and communications, Ms. Jewell has served as a professional speaker, guest lecturer, mentor, and workshop instructor to business associations, colleges, and universities.
