Campus Operating Officer, New York City
Ted Havelka was named Campus Operating Officer (COO), New York City, in January 2017. In this role, he manages day-to-day operations, space management, and staff and student retention for the Midtown Manhattan campus. He most recently served as COO at the White Plains campus.
Mr. Havelka began his higher education career as a field recruiter and Director of High School Admissions at Berkeley College. He went on to lead schools such as Gibbs College in Norwalk, CT and the 12 national locations of Cortiva Institute. As Vice President of Marketing and Admissions, Mr. Havelka led Cortiva through significant growth, including relocation, marketing development, and the launch of new programs. He also served as Vice President of Marketing and Admissions for Prism Education Group in Cherry Hill, NJ and Philadelphia, PA.
He holds a B.A. in Criminal Justice from Roanoke College in Salem, VA.
