Troy Adair, Ph.D.
Troy Adair was appointed Associate Provost, Academic Administration in November 2010. In this role, Dr. Adair oversees the Advisement and Readmissions departments, and the Registrar’s Office. He also assists with coordinating accreditation activities with the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and the American Bar Association, as well as licensing and certification with the New York State Education Department and the New Jersey Commission on Higher Education.
Prior to joining Berkeley College, Dr. Adair served as the Director of Educational Initiatives for the Jay S. Sidhu School of Business and Leadership at Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, where he was responsible for the development and management of new programs and educational initiatives.
Previously, Dr. Adair served as the Undergraduate Finance Coordinator at the University of Michigan, where he also taught in the M.B.A. program and served as the finance faculty advisor for M.B.A. consulting teams engaged in projects with companies around the world. Dr. Adair has taught finance courses at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, North Carolina; Alma College in Alma, Michigan; Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York; and Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, and is the author of several books on both finance and Microsoft Excel.
Dr. Adair holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Indiana University; an M.B.A. from the University of North Dakota; and a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
