Bergen Campus

Paramus, New Jersey is the home of Berkeley College's Bergen Campus. This small, friendly campus is only a few minutes away from great restaurants, beautiful parks, and some of the best shopping malls in the country.

Convenience is the hallmark of our Bergen Campus. Located near Route 17, it is accessible from major New Jersey highways and within walking distance of public transportation.

The Facility
The Bergen Campus offers convenient parking and boasts state-of-the-art facilities. Included are a comfortable student lounge; modern, bright classrooms; a library; a computer-aided design lab; drafting rooms; and offices. Situated in the heart of Bergen County’s business district, the corporate atmosphere of the campus reflects the area. Internship and employment opportunities can be found nearby.

Library
The library, located near the student lounge, offers computers for research and Internet access; study areas; a color copy machine; scanners; printers; and a collection of print, media, and periodical subscriptions supporting the academic programs of the College and the general interests of the students. The collection reflects the specialized curriculum and research interests of the Interior Design program. Students may borrow a laptop from the library to access the College's wireless network. Academic librarians are available to assist in locating materials in the collection or navigating the array of electronic databases available.

The Academic Support Center
The Academic Support Center (ASC) is located within the library and offers a full array of academic support services to help students improve their academic performance and achieve their educational goals. The ASC offers a series of workshops to help strengthen study skills and time management. Tutoring is available online and on-site.

From Southern Bergen County: Take Rte. 17N to Paramus. Take Midland Ave./River Edge exit. Bear right. At second traffic light turn right into Berkeley College driveway.

From Northern Bergen County: Take Rte. 17S to Midland Ave exit. At first light turn left and cross over Rte 17; bear right to follow Midland Ave. At second light turn right into Berkeley College driveway.

From George Washington Bridge: Take Rte 4W to Rte 17N. Exit at Midland Ave/River Edge. Proceed as above.

From Rockland County: Take NY State Thruway to Garden State Parkway South. Take Exit 165 Ridgewood Ave./Ridgewood/Oradell. Go straight to follow From Rd. (Pass GSP Southbound exit on left. See Paramus Park Mall on right.) Stay on From Rd. At first light turn left onto Midland Ave. Make first immediate right into Berkeley College driveway.

From Newark: Take Garden State Parkway N to Exit 163/Rte 17N/Paramus. Exit ramp is on the far left lane. Merge onto Rte. 17N. Take exit for Midland Ave./ River Edge. Proceed as above.

From Orange County: Take NY State Thruway to Exit 15. Follow signs for Rte 17S/NJ. Follow Rte 17S to Paramus. Exit at Midland Ave. Proceed as above.

From Morris County: Take I-287N to Exit 59/Rte 208S/Franklin Lakes. Merge onto Rte 208S. Turn slight left onto Broadway. Broadway becomes Rte 4E. Follow Rte 4E to exit for Rte 17N/Mahwah. Merge onto Rte 17N. Take Midland Ave./River Edge exit. Proceed as above.

From Lincoln Tunnel: Take I-495W to Rte. 3W to Rte. 17N to Paramus. Follow Rte. 17N directions above.
