All Berkeley campuses maintain a library, which supports the academic programs of the College and provides for the general, intellectual, and cultural enrichment of the Berkeley community.
Each library provides access to print and non-print resources, periodical subscriptions supporting the academic programs of the college and the general interests of the College community, the World Wide Web and recommended sites, and a variety of electronic resources. The online catalog contains the system-wide collection of books and other popular media. Throughout Berkeley, students will find academic librarians available to assist in locating materials in the collection or navigating the array of electronic databases.
Each library provides a variety of services including orientation, reference assistance, and course-based and point-of-need instruction. All libraries are open days, evenings, and weekends, and can be accessed online. Off campus access to the libraries' subscription databases is provided through the student portal Blackboard.
