Berkeley College was founded in 1931 and currently operates at eight locations in New Jersey and New York. Berkeley College has always been focused on educating students and preparing them with the knowledge and skills they need to enter the business world and achieve career success. Now Berkeley College has moved into the forefront of providing quality education to US military personnel and to veterans of our armed forces. With an Office of Military and Veterans Affairs, Berkeley provides a direct system of support that enables the College to meet the educational needs of active duty military personnel and veterans.
Berkeley College is proud to partner with GoArmyEd. As described from the GoArmyEd Website, GoArmyEd is "the virtual gateway for Soldiers on active duty or in the Army National Guard to request Tuition Assistance (TA) online, anytime for classroom and distance learning" and "is a dynamic online portal that automates many of the paper-based processes Soldiers historically conducted with their Army education counselor.”
This partnership with GoArmyEd provides opportunities to take courses through distance learning so that Soldiers anywhere will be able to pursue a degree, and also allows Soldiers to use their benefits under the Army Tuition Assistance program to pay for the courses. In essence, the Soldier will pay little to no money for taking college courses. The goal of the GoArmyEd partnership with Berkeley College is to support both the Soldier’s mobile lifestyle and educational goals.
