Shakespeare in Love - Best Picture 1998

In honor of 20 Years of Online Learning and National Distance Learning Week, celebrate with us by watching the most decorated film of 1998, Shakespeare in Love. This film follows the fictional story of Viola de Lesseps, the daughter of a wealthy merchant, played by Gwyneth Paltrow, through her ill-fated love affair with William Shakespeare, played by Joseph Fiennes. As the winner of the 1998 Academy Award for Best Picture, this classic film will transport audiences back in time.

All you have to do to participate is download the Charity Miles app on your phone, join the Berkeley College Online Charity Miles Team, select a charity that you care about, and get walking! You can chose to walk or run inside or outdoors, or you can cycle outside. Starting during National Distance Learning Week 2017, and running throughout the year, your workouts will be counted toward our goal of 20,000,000 steps. If all 7,100 Berkeley College students choose to participate, each student would only need to walk 2,817 steps! So lace up your shoes, and help us help others!
