Background: Professor Christiansen has more than 20 years of business exposure and 10 years of academic experience. He is a prior recipient of Berkeley College’s Instructor of the Year Award and has also taught business management classes at Molloy College, Baruch College, and DeVry University. Professor Christiansen’s corporate experience includes Manager of Quality Services for Group Health Incorporated; Quality Assurance Manager, and Manager of Industrial Engineering and Internal Consulting for Empire Blue Cross and Blue Shield.
In addition to academic duties, he has served as head coach for Berkeley College’s award-winning intramural and extramural men’s basketball teams for eight years.
Professional Affiliations: Member of the American Society for Training and Development.
Degrees: Professor Christiansen has a B.A. in Management and an M.B.A. in Executive Management from St. John’s University, NY.
