Background: Professor Husserl has more than 25 years of teaching and administrative experience in the field of Paralegal Education. Before coming to Berkeley College he taught at Adelphi University; Long Island University’s Brooklyn and C.W. campuses; Mercy College; Nassau Community College; and the New School for Social Research (now called the New School University). He was a pioneer in the field of Continuing Education Programs for Paralegals, having formed a company to offer courses for practicing Paralegals nationwide. In addition, Professor Husserl edited a subscription newsletter for Paralegals titled: New York Lawyer’s Assistant Update, a popular publication among Paralegals in major New York City law firms, as well as in Corporate Law Departments.
Degrees: Professor Husserl has a B.S. from Cornell University and a Doctor of Law degree from Hofstra University.
