Rahul Bedi, Ph.D.

Areas of Expertise: Globalization, Corporate Governance, Cultural Diversity, Management and International Business.

Background: Dr. Bedi, who speaks English, French, Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu fluently, joined Berkeley College Department of Management as a Professor in 1996, and became Chair of that department in 2006. In addition to his duties as Chair, Dr. Bedi teaches classes and serves as:

Highlights of Business Experience:

Consultant on Private Sector development for the United Nations.

President of Inzen, Inc. (The company’s international business comprises trading in, and business development of food and related non-food products).  In his role as president, Dr. Bedi achieved revenue growth of 410% in a four-year period. 

Resident Director, Duncan Macneill & Company Limited based in London. Dr. Bedi directed financial and general management responsibilities for North American operations and served as Advisor to the Chairman on global strategy.

Served on the Tea Board of India under the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India. Responsible for the development of India’s tea industry and the promotion of Indian tea in foreign markets.

Professional Affiliations: Member of the Academy of Management; Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Inc.; and India-America Chamber of Commerce.

Degrees: Ph.D. in Business Administration from Touro University International, CA; M.A. in Business Administration from Stern School of Business Administration, New York University; M.S. in Geology from Jammu & Kashmir University in India; B.A. in Physics, Mathematics, and Geology from Aligarh University in India.
