Department: Senior Vice President of External Affairs
Areas of Expertise: Partnerships between Educational Institutions and the Community, Community Outreach, Workforce Development, Economic Development Strategies, Fund-raising Strategies, Planning Strategic Partnerships, Educators in the Workplace.
Background: Ms. Duda has been with Berkeley College for 16 years, serving as Administrative Director, Director Agency Relations, Vice President of Workforce Development, and Vice President of External Affairs. In her current role Ms. Duda is active in communities throughout the region, particularly where the College has locations.

Awards and Recognitions:

February 2008, named as one of New Jersey’s Best 50 Women in Business by NJBIZ, a New Jersey business news publication. The award recognizes the most dynamic women in business and the impact these women have as business leaders in creating jobs and building communities in New Jersey.

Recipient of the 2008 Garden State Woman of the Year award in the category of Education and sponsored by Garden State Woman magazine. The award honors women for their commitment of giving back to the community, and for their significance as role models for other women.

Recipient of the 2008 “Unsung Heroes” award from the Boys & Girls Club of Paterson and Passaic for her community involvement in Passaic County.

Recipient of the 2007 Shirley Chisholm Catalyst for Change Award in the category of Civic and Community Service and sponsored by the office of Sheila Oliver, Assemblywoman of the 35th District.

Degrees: Ms. Duda has a B.A. from San Diego State University and an M.A. from the University of Wisconsin. She also is a Bloustein Fellow of the John Heldridge Leadership Institute on Workforce Development from Rutgers University.
