Julissa Marenco

Julissa Marenco is a seasoned communications executive. She is passionate about media, public service, and the power of television. Currently, she serves on the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Educational Foundation board. She is also the Vice-Chair of The Children’s National Medical Center Public Policy and Advisory Board Foundation and is a Trustee of The American Council of Young Political Leaders. An advocate of the empowerment of young women, Ms. Marenco served on the Board of Directors of the YWCA of the National Capital area for four years and continuously supports programs that engage and support women in business. She is a member of Leadership Greater Washington and was an invited member of The Economic Club of Washington DC.

Ms. Marenco served as President of ZGS Communications Station Group from April 2009 through July 2013. In this capacity, she oversaw the management of and provided strategic direction for Telemundo Network’s largest affiliate station group encompassing 13 Telemundo television stations and three radio stations across the country. Additionally, she oversaw the company’s corporate marketing, communications, research, digital and national sales efforts. From 2007-2008, Ms. Marenco served as a White House Fellow, a non-partisan program that is renowned as America’s most prestigious program for leadership and public service.

Ms. Marenco began her media and business career with Blair Television in New York. She joined Telemundo Network in 1998 working in Marketing and Research. In 2001, she moved to the ZGS Communications as a National Sales Manager. She was then promoted to the Telemundo Washington DC affiliate, where she rose to the post of General Manager of the station. In this role, she directed the day-to-day operation of the station expanding business development, increasing the station’s profile, enhancing community and public relations, marketing and promotions, and news and programming. She is highly regarded for creating and developing key grassroots initiatives designed to empower and promote the advancement of underserved and multicultural communities.

Ms. Marenco has received several awards for vision, leadership, business and public service. The Alliance for Women in Media (Formerly American Women in Radio and Television) recognized Ms. Marenco as one of “6 to Watch,” as the future of the media industry and in celebration of its 60th Anniversary. In 2011, she was named one of “40 under 40” business leaders by The Washington Business Journal. In 2012, the Dominican American National Roundtable awarded their National Award for Communications to Ms. Marenco for leadership and commitment.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, Ms. Marenco was raised in Hudson County, New Jersey and is a first-generation Hispanic American. Her mother emigrated from the Dominican Republic and her father hails from El Salvador. She holds Bachelor of Arts degree from Rowan University in Communications with a concentration in Radio/Television/Film. Ms. Marenco is a 2014 candidate for a Masters in Public Administration from Harvard University. At Harvard University she was selected to be a member of the nationally recognized Women and Public Policy program From Harvard Square to the Oval Office.

Alyssa Dver

Alyssa Dver is Chief Confidence Officer for the American Confidence Institute (ACI) where she works with other thought leaders to uncover the true causes and effects of confidence. Leveraging ACI’s research and emotional conditioning concepts used by professional athletes, Alyssa is on a confidence crusade to help business leaders be more successful and less stressed. She’s an in-demand keynote speaker at such venues as The World Diversity Summit at the U.N., The Women’s Congress, and The Center for Entrepreneurial Excellence. With a unique mix of candor and comedy, she comfortably interacts with and entertains audiences ranging from executive leaders, to women and entrepreneurs.

Sharon Greene-Golden, CRCST, FCS

With more than 25 years in Central Sterile Supply, Sharon Greene-Golden, CRCST, FCS, has a true passion for the profession. She currently serves as Sterile Processing Manager for Bon Secours-DePaul Medical Center Norfolk, Virginia. She is also the current IAHCSMM President. Ms. Greene-Golden, who has been an active IAHCSMM member since 1993, served as IAHCSMM Executive Board member in 2005 and 2009 and as IAHCSMM Secretary/Treasurer from 2006-2008. From 2005-2007, she also served as committee chairperson for the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation.

Ms. Greene-Golden has received numerous IAHCSMM awards and distinctions, including the Golden Slipper Award in 2004; the Bertha Yanis Litsky, Ph.D., Educator of the Year Award in 2008; and IAHCSMM Fellowship Status in 2009. She has also contributed to a number of healthcare articles, including those published in Infection Control Today, OR Today, and IAHCSMM’s Communiqué. She has presented at national, regional and local IAHCSMM meetings, as well as at the Aesculap Academy in Germany. Ms. Greene-Golden presented an abstract entitled “Boiling: The Answer to HLD of Surgical Instruments in a Village of a Third World Country” at the 12th World Sterilization Congress held in Estoril, Portugal in 2011. She was featured in a TODAY Show segment on dirty surgical instruments and also serves as a CSSD specialist who cleans and processes instruments according to standards, best practices and manufacturers’ instructions for use, and promotes the value of certification of CSSD technicians. Greene-Golden presented “Technology, machines, robots, it still takes the human factor to clean instruments” at the 14th World Sterilization Congress in Antalya, Turkey November 2013.

Lesley Everett

Lesley Everett is an internationally acclaimed professional keynote speaker and expert on personal branding and perception management. She has presented her “Walking TALL Methodology” in 24 countries across five continents to date. She is a regular contributor to media in the United Kingdom, United States, and United Arab Emirates, and is a published author and an Executive Brand Coach. Her clients include several FTSE 100 companies as well as the United Nations, Bank of America, and GE.

Ms. Everett is often called upon to comment on the personal brand and image of people in the public eye. She has appeared many times on TV in the U.K. on BBC News and Sky Business, and in the U.S. she has featured on CNBC, CNN, CBS, and Fox Business News. Ms. Everett is the founder of London-based Walking TALL International. She has created a methodology for personal branding that has inspired audiences for the past 14 years.
