Dress Code

Student uniforms should be worn while in the clinical setting and for faculty approved activities in the community. Each student is expected to keep the uniform clean, pressed, and in good condition. When uniforms are worn, they must be worn in their totality. Students who are dressed inappropriately or who lack proper professional appearance will be dismissed from that day’s clinical assignment and given an unsatisfactory grade for the day.

During the laboratory component of classes, students are expected to wear a white laboratory coat which contains the Berkeley College insignia.

The following are the guidelines of the professional appearance code:

A stethoscope, pen, and penlight are also required.
