Center for Academic Success

The Center for Academic Success (formerly the Academic Support Center) is dedicated to engaging with students throughout their academic careers at Berkeley College and supporting their development as successful independent learners. Center services are available to online and on-site students. The Center for Academic Success provides an array of resources and services to support all academic programs and courses. Students have access to both peer and professional tutors, who are available during the day, evenings, and weekends.

Center for Academic Success services include:

WriteAID
Allows students to receive asynchronous, email-based feedback on writing, typically within two business days, to help improve their drafts and grow their skills for the future. 

Speakeasy
Allows students to practice and receive feedback on presentations and public speaking.

Embedded Workshops
Allows professors to partner with Center for Academic Success staff on workshops dealing with:

  • Academic writing
  • MLA/APA format
  • Study skills
  • Email etiquette
