Edison A. Jaquez
Bachelor's Degree Business Administration

Edison A. Jaquez is the Program Coordinator for the Civic Justice Corps at the Jewish Renaissance Foundation, where he is responsible for program planning and training, while working with at-risk male youth between the ages of 16 and 24.

In addition to his current position, Mr. Jaquez is the CEO/Founder of B-Men, and Co-Founder of BYOUtiful, mentoring organizations designed to enhance the lives of today’s youth. He is also a motivational speaker traveling throughout New Jersey, sharing his story with audiences young and old.

After successfully establishing these mentoring programs, Mr. Jaquez published a book, “A Second Chance: Life Lessons Turned into Living Dreams,” in 2015. For his incredible outreach efforts, he received the Principles for Life Education Award from the I Can Foundation in July 2014. The following month, he earned an Award of Recognition from United Dominicans of Perth Amboy for his valuable work in the community.

Mr. Jaquez has been described as “a guardian angel traveling along the streets of Perth Amboy, steering the lives of local teens who might be tempted to make the wrong choices, back on the track toward success, self-esteem and integrity.”

Now a motivational speaker who has adopted the motto “Don't let your history define who you are,” he is a pillar in his community, earning the trust and admiration of several local officials, elected officials and parents of the young people he inspires every day.

A native of the Dominican Republic, Mr. Jaquez moved to the United States in Perth Amboy, NJ, at the age of 7 with his family, where he still lives today with his fiancée, Jennifer Torres and son, Armani. Mr. Jaquez graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Berkeley College in 2009.
