- School code for New York: 008556
If your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is selected for verification by the U.S. Education Department, you will receive an introductory email at your preferred email address. The email will introduce the verification process and will come from the following address: StudentFinance@BerkeleyCollege.edu.
Furthermore, you will receive an email from ProVerifier with a link to their portal and next steps. This will come from the following address: Berkeley@proverifier.proed.org. The ProVerifier portal can be accessed at https://berkeley.proed.org. You will use your Berkeley College credentials to sign in.
For residents living outside of the New York/New Jersey area, please contact an Admissions Associate for the correct Berkeley College school code.
ATTENTION: If the FAFSA determines that you are a Dependent student, your parent/contributor will need to create their own FSA ID and password.
After submitting the FAFSA, a confirmation number will be displayed for your records.
All New York residents must click on the blue hyperlink on the confirmation page to provide additional information to be considered for state aid. Failure to do so will delay consideration.
