Rahul Bedi, Ph.D.
Dr. Rahul Bedi, Associate Chair, Management, Larry L. Luing School of Business, joined Berkeley College in 1996.
Dr. Bedi has over 30 years’ experience in international business and government, rising to the top level of management. Subsequently, Dr. Bedi decided to shift his focus to making contribution to the community and transitioned into teaching in 1996. In 2010, he founded the Model UN Club at Berkeley College. Dr. Bedi currently teaches Management and International Business and received the 2012 Faculty of the Year Award for excellence in on-site instruction.
Dr. Bedi is founding partner of 20/20 Global Advisors, a New York-based consulting group, and has served as consultant to the United Nations and advised various foreign agencies on revitalization of tea industry in Abkhazia. Currently, Dr. Bedi is Vice President of the India-America Chamber of Commerce and is on the Board of International Consortium of Coaching in Organizations (ICCO).
His book, Corporate Governance Triangle in the Post Sarbanes-Oxley Period, was published by Lambert Academic Publishing, Koln, Germany. Dr. Bedi has given keynote addresses, published papers, and workshops on Corporate Governance and Academic Service Learning at Cambridge University, International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE), Indian Institute of Management, and many other conferences attended by academicians in business, defense, medical and engineering fields.
Having worked internationally in India, Europe, and the United States, Dr. Bedi has a keen understanding of the cultural diversity and business practices of these regions. He speaks French, Hindi, Urdu, and Punjabi.
Dr. Bedi holds a Ph.D. from Touro University International, an M.B.A. from New York University, an M.S. from J&K University and a B.S. from Aligarh University. He has attended one year long Executive Development program at IMD, Lausanne, Switzerland.
