Assistant Director, Teaching and Learning Commons

Anthony Girardo was appointed Assistant Director, Teaching and Learning Commons in 2015 and has served as Faculty, Management at Larry L. Luing School of Business since 2013. Previously, he served as Chair, Business, at Dover Business College where he began his teaching career in 2007. He also served as a Technology Resource Coordinator starting in 2010 and continued in that position with Berkeley College.

Before beginning his teaching career, Mr. Girardo spent over 30 years working in various industries, gaining valuable business, management, and IT experience. In addition to starting and operating his own computer consulting company, he served as a project manager for Grasslin Controls (a division of GE) and Director of Technology Operations with Covanta Energy.

Mr. Girardo received his M.B.A. from Fairleigh Dickinson University and his B.A. in Organizational Management with a concentration in Marketing from Felician College. He also holds a Computer Programming Certification from the Computer Learning Center. Mr. Girardo recently attained his Quality Matters (QM) certifications for Peer Reviewer and Online Facilitator. He has also earned Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certifications for Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word, and a Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) certification for Windows Operating System Fundamentals.
