Brian Maher

Vice President for Career Services

Brian Maher was appointed Vice President for Career Services in August 2013. In this role, Mr. Maher is responsible for providing leadership, vision, and support to the Career Services staff at all Berkeley College locations.

Prior to this position, Mr. Maher was the Berkeley College Athletic Director from February 2008 to October 2013, during which he expanded the number of athletic programs available to students from two to 13, led the College's membership into the United States Collegiate Athletic Association, and secured six conference championships.

Mr. Maher also has served as Director, Student Development and Campus Life, at the Woodland Park campus, and Director of Alumni Relations.

Prior to joining Berkeley College, Mr. Maher served as the Marketing Coordinator for Bogen Communications, Inc., and as a Classified Sales Representative at the New York Daily News, LP.

Awards and Recognitions: Mr. Maher received Berkeley College Associate of the Year awards in 2010 and 2006 and honorable mentions in 2009 and 2005. He was the Salesperson of the Quarter in 1998 and runner-up for Salesperson of the Year in 1998 at the New York Daily News.

Professional Affiliations: Mr. Maher served as President of the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference from 2010 to 2013. He currently serves on the Championships Sub-Committee for the United States Collegiate Athletic Association. He was inducted into the Phi Alpha Theta National History Honor Society in 1990 and the Pi Gammu Mu International Honor Society in Social Science in 1991.

Degrees: Mr. Maher holds a B.A. in History from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY.
