Brian Maher

Vice President

Brian Maher was named Vice President in January 2019. In this role he oversees the Financial Aid department, where his focus is on ensuring students receive the financial aid for which they are eligible as well as the extensive financial literacy education and exceptional customer service they deserve.

Mr. Maher previously served as Vice President, Information Analytics, where he oversaw the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and integrated data-driven decision-making in college operations, planning, and assessment. He has also served as Vice President, Career Services; Athletic Director; Director, Student Development and Campus Life; and Director, Alumni Relations.

Prior to joining Berkeley College, Mr. Maher served as the Marketing Coordinator for Bogen Communications, Inc. and as a Classified Sales Representative at the New York Daily News, LP.

Mr. Maher received Berkeley College Associate of the Year awards in 2010 and 2006 and honorable mentions in 2009 and 2005. In 2015 and 2018, he led departments that have been recognized for Associate of the Year Awards for Teamwork.

Mr. Maher currently serves on the Bergen County Workforce Development Board, the Recruitment Committee for LeadNJ, and is an Honorary Civilian Commander for McGuire Air Force Base. He has previously served as President of the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and has served on the Education Committee for the Sussex County Chamber of Commerce.

Mr. Maher holds a B.A. in History from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY.
