Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification

Students enrolled in the Patient Care Technician (PCT) program must successfully pass the health provider Basic Life Support (BLS) course prior to enrolling in clinical courses.  This course teaches high-quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for adults, children, and infants.  Once obtained, the certification must remain current while enrolled in the PCT program.

Students will be scheduled for the CPR course as part of their program of courses. Any student who fails to attend or pass this course will not be permitted to enroll in courses containing a clinical component.
