Financial Aid Summary

Calendar Year: Berkeley College’s calendar includes three terms organized on the semester system. The fall semester begins in September, followed by the winter semester in January, and the spring semester in April.

Under those guidelines Berkeley Colleges’ Standard Academic Year is two semesters (30 weeks). Certain types of aid are pre-determined and disbursed over the course of a calendar year. Berkeley College Grants and Scholarships

Berkeley College need-based grant awards are determined after all federal grants, Post-9/11 GI bill amounts, state grants, state scholarships, Berkeley College grants and scholarships (not need-based), outside resources (such as private scholarships, VA benefits other than Post-9/11 GI bill, tuition reimbursement, etc.), and federal subsidized loans have been applied. Students who elect not to borrow federal subsidized loans may still qualify for and receive need-based aid. Should students choose to borrow federal subsidized loans, such amounts will be applied before the Berkeley College need-based grant award is determined.
