Academic Support Center

The Academic Support Center (ASC) is dedicated to engaging with students throughout their academic careers at Berkeley College and supporting their development as successful independent learners. ASC services are available to online and on-site students. The ASC provides an array of resources and services to support all academic programs and courses. Students have access to both peer and professional tutors. ASC staff members are available during the day, evenings, and weekends.

ASC services include:

WriteAID
Allows students to email projects, papers, and assignments to WriteAID@BerkeleyCollege.edu in order to identify areas of their writing that need improvement

MathED
Allows students to email math questions to MathED@BerkeleyCollege.edu

Embedded Workshops
Allows professors to partner with ASC staff on workshops dealing with:

  • Academic Writing
  • MLA/APA Format
  • ePortfolios
  • Study Skills
  • Email Etiquette
