Clinical Site and Clinical Placement Policy

Clinical Sites

The Adherence of Clinical Sites is a very detailed process led by each specific Program Chair in the School of Health. New Clinical sites are vetted for quality, appropriate learning environment and whether the site can aid the student in meeting programmatic learning outcomes. Program Department Chairs make clinical decisions and follow a specific workflow in order to identify clinical sites that have the best fit for their specific program. Evaluations of clinical programs happen yearly by a designated person within that specific department.

Clinical Placement

Students in the PN and LPN-BSN Nursing programs require clinical experience rotations as part of their specific program. Students are placed in clinical experiences by either the Clinical coordinator of that Program or by the specific person assigned within the Nursing Department.
