COLLEGE AND PROGRAM LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Objectives 1 through 6 are the College Learning Objectives. The remaining objectives are the Program Learning Objectives.


1. Reading and Written Communication: Students will demonstrate competency in reading and writing.

2. Oral Communication: Students will demonstrate effective oral communication skills that incorporate emotional intelligence, empathy, and civility.

3. Critical Analysis and Reasoning: Students will apply critical thinking and the knowledge gained in their degree programs for better decision-making informed by:

  • Ethical Reasoning
  • Quantitative Reasoning
  • Scientific Reasoning

4. Knowledge and Skills for Participation in a Diverse Society: Students will respect multiple perspectives and cultural contexts when making decisions independently or as part of a team.

7. Students will demonstrate skills in a wide variety of advanced 3D modeling and computer graphic software to
communicate design concepts into visual graphics.

8. Students will effectively communicate with members of collaborative multi-disciplinary teams in the architecture and design industry. 

9. Students will demonstrate competency in the process of creating graphics and renderings through the use of 3D software knowledge gained from the various courses in the program.

10. Students will produce complex, technical, and quantitative information using 3D modeling, animation, and visual effects into digital media.

11. Students will learn to communicate graphical concepts and information in the design/art industry. They will develop advanced skills, knowledge and understanding of digital design and modeling.
