To qualify for this program, you must:
- Satisfy Berkeley College admissions requirements and be accepted to the College
- Complete a FAFSA each new aid year by January 1 and be eligible for the maximum Federal Pell Grant and the maximum New York State Tuition Assistance Program (TAP)
- Have sufficient federal and state financial aid eligibility to complete an Associate’s degree
- Complete all federal and state financial aid verification requirements before the semester begins
- Be a full‐time student and maintain satisfactory academic progress, for federal and state, each semester
- Maintain on-site, full-time, continuous, consecutive-term enrollment. You may not be enrolled as an online student, but you may enroll in individual online classes to fulfill degree requirements
To remain in the program and renew the grant, you must:
- Maintain on-site, full-time, continuous, consecutive-term enrollment. You cannot regain eligibility upon readmission
- Maintain federal and state satisfactory academic progress each semester
- Complete a FAFSA and complete all federal and state financial aid verification requirements before each semester begins
- Earn a total of at least 24 credits within two consecutive semesters to be eligible for this program in the subsequent third semester
