CONTINUING EDUCATION CERTIFICATE PROGRAM

Graphic Design Certificate Program

The Graphic Design Certificate is designed for working and non-working professionals interested in developing their design skills and learning the foundations of graphic design utilizing industry-standard software for print and multimedia design. Students will learn how to communicate a message through typography, layout, image, and color using the Adobe Suite. The Graphic Design Certificate is for individuals who are not ready to commit to (or not interested in seeking) a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design.

The 12 credits gained in the Graphic Design Certificate program will count towards the B.F.A. in Graphic Design program should a student wish to seek admission for this program following the successful completion of the certificate program.

The Graphic Design Certificate program can be completed online in two semesters, taking two 15-week online courses (six credits) each semester.
