Carol Allen-Covino

Carol Allen-Covino was named Associate Vice President, Enrollment, in September 2013. In this role, she examines and implements the recruitment and enrollment processes of Berkeley College.

Ms. Allen-Covino has previously held several Admissions positions including Berkeley College Associate Vice President, High School and Community Relations; Senior Director, Enrollment; Director, Outreach; and Director, Admissions, in Woodland Park.

She received a Berkeley College Associate of the Year award in 2006 for Adaptability and an Honorable Mention award in 2002, as well as several Associate of the Quarter recognitions. She was named Distinguished Business Person of the Year in 2002 by the New Jersey Business/Technology Education Association (NJBTEA).

Ms. Allen-Covino serves as Membership Chair and is a Past President of the NJBTEA. She is a member of the Executive Board of the Essex County School Counselors Association, the Bergen County School Counselors Association, and the Hudson County School Counselors Association. Ms. Allen-Covino sits on the advisory boards of Harp Academy and Passaic County Technical Institute, and is a member of the New Jersey Association for College Admission Counseling (NJACAC).

Ms. Allen-Covino has presented on topics such as helicopter parents, identity theft, and dressing for success to groups including DECA, Future Business Leaders of America, and NJACAC.

Ms. Allen-Covino is an alumna and holds a certificate in Fashion Merchandising from The Berkeley School and a BBA in General Business from Berkeley College.
