Linda Mauro
Linda Mauro oversees day-to-day operations, finances, student and staff retention, space management, community outreach, and campus expansion. She also monitors personnel-related policies, including training and professional development programs.
Ms. Mauro began her career at Berkeley College in 2001 as the Director of Adult Admissions at the New York City campus. In 2003, she was promoted to Associate Vice President, Enrollment, overseeing Admissions at various campuses throughout New York and New Jersey. She served as the Campus Operating Officer of the Paramus campus from July 2012 to August 2014 and the Woodland Park campus from 2010 to June 2021. As Campus Operating Officer of the New York City campus, Ms. Mauro led the launch of the Designer-in-Residence program, bridging academia and industry to enhance students’ experiential learning from fashion professionals. Prior to joining Berkeley College, Ms. Mauro worked in sales and marketing in the fashion industry.
Ms. Mauro holds a Master of Business Administration from The Jack Welch Management Institute at Strayer University and a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Advertising and Communications from SUNY Oneonta and the Fashion Institute of Technology. She earned an Executive Leadership Certification from Cornell University in 2019. She received the Berkeley College Associate of the Year Award in Leadership in 2002 and the Associate of the Year Honorable Mention for Excellence Award in 2006. She was part of the YWCA Academy of Women’s Leaders Class of 2015 and is an alumna of the HERS Leadership Institute.
Ms. Mauro has served on the Board of Directors for the North Jersey Chamber of Commerce since 2010 and is on the Advisory Board Council for Dress For Success, Northern NJ. She was honored as Woman of the Year in 2020 by the Borough of Woodland Park, NJ, and was named among the Trailblazers in Higher Education by City & State New York in 2024.
