Berkeley College will host an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) to BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) webinar at 1 p.m. This is the only program of its kind in New Jersey. Berkeley College, in partnership with the Newark City of Learning Collaborative and the Newark Public Library, will host “Master Money by Mastering Your Future,” at 6 p.m. Moderated by Linda Athearn-Forster, Berkeley College Senior Director, Student Financial Literacy and Technology, this is a special event for high school students and their families. Norm Champ, former Director of the Division of Investment Management at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and author of Mastering Money: How to Beat Debt, Build Wealth and Be Prepared for any Financial Crisis, will speak about preparing for college in a time of COVID and strategies for boosting your income. Berkeley College, in partnership with the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce, will host "Leading with Feeling: Nine Strategies of Emotionally Intelligent Leadership,” at 9 a.m. Join the authors – Cary Cherniss, PhD, and Cornelia W. Roche – for a conversation on how emotional intelligence can help you become a more effective manager. Participants will be introduced to the key components of leadership.
