Application and Fees

Students are required to submit a Dual Enrollment Application and provide payment for required course fees (after any applicable Berkeley College grants have been applied). Applications and payment must be submitted to the Executive Director of Academic Partnerships. Course fees may be paid by each individual student or the high school (on behalf of a group of students). Course fees are payable in advance.

Students taking Dual Enrollment courses at their high school may be required to purchase and use traditional textbooks.

Credits and Transcripts

Upon successful completion of each course, students will receive an unofficial transcript from Berkeley College. A student may obtain an official transcript from Berkeley College by submitting a written request to the Registrar’s Office along with a copy of his or her high school diploma. Participation in Dual Enrollment does not guarantee future admission to Berkeley College.

Although credits earned at Berkeley College are typically accepted as transfer credits by other colleges, the decision to award transfer credit is solely within the discretion of the receiving institution. Students are advised to consult with the college to which they may seek to apply or transfer.

Refunds

In the event of withdrawal, students taking courses at a Berkeley College campus or through Berkeley College Online® shall receive refunds in accordance with the Berkeley College Tuition Refund Policy as reflected in the Undergraduate Catalog.

Students taking courses at their high school are eligible for refunds if they withdraw within the first two (2) weeks of the course. No refund shall be issued after the second week.
