During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, join Dr. JoAnn Giesenhaus from Core Wellness in Little Falls, NJ for an important presentation on the prevention and treatment of breast cancer, as well as proactive lifestyle changes you can make.

According to Breastcancer.org:

  • Breast cancer is the most common cancer diagnosed among women in the U.S.
  • Each year, about 30% of all newly diagnosed cancers in women are breast cancer.
  • In 2024, approximately 310,720 women will be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer, 16% of which will be in women younger than 50 years of age.

Dr. JoAnn Giesenhaus

Dr. Giesenhaus of Core Chiropractic in Little Falls, is a member of the American Holistic Health Association, a 501 (c)(3) Non-Profit. AHHA encourages healthcare physicians and practitioners to incorporate holistic principles into their practices, and to educate the public on the power of the holistic approach to better health by offering free information about health and wellness. We do wellness talks and computerized health screenings to help our communities better cope with illness or disease, manage stress or sleep issues, or to enhance your overall health.

Caterina Sousa

Caterina Sousa, MSN Ed, APRN, FNP-C, is a dedicated RN with 23+ years of experience, a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), and is pursuing her Doctorate in Nursing Practice. She holds a Master’s in Nursing Education and a Post- Master’s FNP degree. A full-time professor at Berkeley, she was recently named Program Director for the MSN FNP program. With clinical expertise in pediatric oncology and hematology, pediatric neurology, and neonatology, she is also a passionate advocate for breast cancer awareness, inspired by her sister’s journey as a survivor.
