About G20

G20 (Group of Twenty) is an intergovernmental forum of the world’s 19 largest economies plus the European Union, representing about 85% of global GDP, 75% of international trade, and two-thirds of the world’s population. It meets annually to address major global economic challenges, trade, sustainability, and development. In November 2025, the G20 Summit will take place in South Africa. Hosted for the first time in Africa, this will be an historic moment for global trade, investment, and diplomatic engagement with Africa.
