BERKELEY COLLEGE ANNOUNCES SEPTEMBER EVENTS

September 2

Berkeley College will host an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) to BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) webinar at 1 p.m. This is the only program of its kind in New Jersey. Learn about admissions requirements, support services and financial aid. As part of a new virtual PIVOT TO WIN series offered by the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce, Jessica Walker, President and CEO will host a free webinar on “Working with Virtual Interns and Best Virtual Hiring Practices,” from 12 noon to 1 p.m. on September 4, 2020, featuring Jasmine Briggs-Rogers, Director, Career Services, and Rosa Santana, Assistant Director, Career Services. They will discuss techniques on how to hire and manage virtual interns and entry-level employees, focusing on communication methods and online systems to help with hiring, training, delegating and managing virtual employees. Berkeley College will host an Open House at 9 a.m. The virtual event is for high school seniors and adult students. Guests will have the opportunity to hear from staff and faculty, and learn about degree programs, as well as financial aid and scholarship opportunities. “Women in Leadership: Creating a Diverse Online Presence to Thrive in the New Normal,” is the topic of this workshop offered by the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce as part of their PIVOT TOWIN series from 12 noon to 1 p.m. In a work-from-home environment, women must be at the top of their game in managing their online presence along with their social and professional networks. Join the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce and guest speaker Angela Harrington, Berkeley College Vice President of Communications and External Relations to hear about developing a memorable online presence that elevates your personal brand.
