January 13 

Berkeley College will host a Criminal Justice/Legal Studies/National Security virtual information session. Are you interested in occupations in the American criminal justice system?  Would you like to identify potential law-related careers?  And in the area of national security, the  growing need for trained, qualified professionals to address threats to safety spans both the public and private sectors. Berkeley College will host an Honors Program virtual information session. The Honors Program is an educational opportunity offered to high-achieving high school students graduating in 2021. Faculty members will talk about its opportunities, requirements and benefits, and current Honors Program students will be available for questions and answers. Berkeley College will host a Healthcare virtual information session. Professionals will discuss health and wellness, and talk about the training and skills needed to be successful in this field.  The session, which begins at 6 p.m., is free, but registration is required. Berkeley College is holding a webinar on “Supporting the Career Development of Students who are Neurodivergent.” The webinar runs from 10 to 11:30 a.m. and there is no cost to attend. Topics include an introduction to autism and other types of learning disabilities; features of autism, dyslexia, ADHD, dyscalculia, hyperlexia, Tourette’s syndrome, etc., types of jobs for individuals with autism, and how to market strengths to potential employers.  A question-and-answer session will follow.
