Proctored Exams
Certain online courses offered through Berkeley College Online® require students to take proctored exams to verify student identity and ensure academic integrity.
Berkeley College is required by the Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008 (HEOA) and its accrediting body, the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE), to verify student identities in distance education programs. Such verification includes the use of secure logins and proctored examinations.
Exams must be submitted by students the same day they receive them. Failing to submit or pass an exam will lead to a zero grade or failing grade, respectively, for the exam. This may lead to failing the course. Exams must be visibly monitored using Proctorio except for compliance with required accommodations. For details about your course requirements, please review your syllabus.
