Kevin L. Luing
Kevin L. Luing is Chairman of the Board of Berkeley College, a position which he has held since 2001. Prior to that, he was President of the New Jersey campuses for 10 years. He began his career at Berkeley College in 1988 as Director of Computer Resources, where he built the department from scratch before becoming the Director of Academic Affairs in 1990.
Mr. Luing is a member of the boards of the New Jersey State Chamber of Commerce, the Business Council of New York State, the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey (CIANJ), the Foundation for Free Enterprise, and the Berkeley College Foundation. He is a past president of the New Jersey Business/Technology Education Association and a former board member of the Business Council of Westchester, the Westchester County Association, the Middlesex County Regional Chamber of Commerce, the North Jersey Regional Chamber of Commerce, the North Jersey Regional Chamber of Commerce Foundation, the New Jersey Performing Arts Center Council of Trustees, the Bergen County Workforce Investment Board, and the Passaic County Workforce Investment Board. Mr. Luing is a graduate of both the Leadership Morris and Leadership New Jersey programs, and was named one of the Top 40 Leaders Under 40 by New Jersey Business News. In 2013, CIANJ awarded Mr. Luing the Chairman’s Outstanding Leadership Award, and in 2016 the American Conference on Diversity awarded the Luing Family the Legacy Humanitarian Award.
Mr. Luing received an MBA in Marketing from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a BA in Math and Computer Science and in Religion from Dartmouth College.
